Delete your account
Foley - AI Task and Planner, by Hanamori Labs, LLC
You can delete your Foley account and everything attached to it from inside the app, in about ten seconds. No email, no form, no waiting period.
From the app
- Open Foley and go to Settings.
- Under Account, tap Delete account.
- Confirm twice. The second confirm is the point of no return.
If the app asks you to sign in again first, that is a safety check on stale sessions: sign in once more, tap Delete account again, and it finishes.
What is deleted
- Your account's rules and their synchronisation history.
- Your private transcript history, recorded results and stored synchronisation receipts.
- Your account's learned spellings, their context and synchronisation records.
- Your submitted feedback, its delivery records and associated private support tickets.
- Every project only you belong to - its tasks, notes, dates and attachments - from our servers and from the device you deleted on.
- Your account record: the sign-in, your email address, and your billing and usage history with us.
- Your project index - the list of what you were in and how you filed it.
Deleted content is removed from the service's account records and cannot be restored through Foley. A minimal deletion marker remains to prevent an old device from uploading that account's private history again.
What is kept
- The account deletion marker contains no transcript, recording or rule content. It has no automatic expiry because an old device can reconnect later.
- Projects you shared with other people keep their content for those people - you leave them, and your name comes off the member list.
- Foley on any other device of yours keeps its local copy until you delete the app there.
- A subscription is cancelled with whoever billed it: the App Store or Google Play in their subscription settings, or Stripe from the receipt email. Deleting the account does not charge or refund anything by itself.
If you cannot use the app
Email hello@foleyapp.com from the address you signed in with and ask for deletion. A person will do exactly what the button does, and confirm when it is done.
